A recent transplant to Highlands, Caroline is a native of Spartanburg, SC and a graduate of Sewanee, where she received a B.A. in Natural Resources. She spent her twenties in various nature-based adventurous pursuits around the West. At the age of 30, she moved to her favorite place, WNC, to practice her calling since childhood, therapeutic bodywork. She’s been licensed since 2015, when she graduated from Center for Massage and Natural Health in Asheville.
In 2020 she became captivated by John Barnes MFR (short for Myofascial Release). This incredibly gentle yet powerful technique focuses on relaxing the body and restoring length, function, and flexibility to the omnipresent, unifying fabric of the fascial web, using sustained, precise pressure.
Caroline is a long time student of Natural Health, and she loves sharing what she’s learned, but her favorite thing is feeling fascial tissues transform in her clients, and hearing of the various lasting results of pain relief, greater mobility, better sleep, mental clarity, emotional resolution, and more.
